Reading List (Discussion)

These are books that have been recommended to me recently. They are all pretty new so finding them at the used book store will be hard, but check your local library. If you buy a copy, make sure you pass it on.

If you’ve read any of these books, please review them. As I’m able to read them, I’ll post reviews. Post any other books on the subjects…

This Land: The Battle over Sprawl and the Future of America

New Village Green: Living Light, Living Local, Living Large

Living Green: A Practical Guide to Simple Sustainability

Go Green: How to Build an Earth-Friendly Community

Suburban Nation: The Rise of Sprawl and the Decline of the American Dream

I’m adding this site to the reading list.

    http://www.worldchanging.com/

“WorldChanging.com works from a simple premise: that the tools, models and ideas for building a better future lie all around us. That plenty of people are working on tools for change, but the fields in which they work remain unconnected. That the motive, means and opportunity for profound positive change are already present. That another world is not just possible, it’s here. We only need to put the pieces together.”
